The moment you walk through the front door, our newly re-modeled lobby will leave you breathless. The highly polished mahogany staircase, and marble floors are a hint of the new era of luxury to be enjoyed in San Ignacio. Exotic paintings from Belize's own talented artists decorate the walls for your enjoyment.

Our full-service resort features the famous Running W Steakhouse with indoor and outdoor dining, as well as room service; the Stork Club Bar & Grill, featuring live entertainment; an outdoor pool and deck; tennis court; meeting rooms; business services and Internet access.

Conference Facility
Our air-conditioned meeting room can accommodate up to 200 people theatre style, or 80 banquet style. For conferences, we can seat 50 in a U-shape setup. Our staff is equipped to handle all details, including audio-visual equipment and meals.

Archaeologist, ecologists and other groups from different countries gather atthe San Ignacio Resort Hotel for their conferences and seminars.

Swimming Pool & Tennis Court
After a fun-filled day, enjoy a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool or just bask in the sun on the patio lounge. Our pool also provides the perfect ambiance for outdoor functions and Weddings.

We also boast a lighted tennis court for those wanting to stay in shape. A Certified Tennis Coach can be arranged for private or group lessons upon request.

There is also a gift shop stock with a variety of locally made items and books by Belizean writers and historians.

Our Iguana Conservation Project
offers you a chance to see this disappearing species being protected
and released into their own habitat.

A hatchery on the hotel grounds will renew the population of this over-hunted species. In addition, lectures and slide presentations are available for educational groups.
