Day 1
Land transfer from Belize City to the San Ignacio Resort Hotel in San Ignacio with option for a stopover along the way at the Belize Zoo or Guanacaste National Park.

Day 2
An early morning departure takes you to Tikal in Guatemala, the most famous
Mayan site in Central America. Tikal is located in the lowlands of the Petén region
in Guatemala and 1.5 hours by road from Belize's western border. Tikal is the only
place in the world which has been declared both a Natural & Cultural Heritage Site
for Humanity.

Overnight - Parque National Tikal at the Jungle Lodge.

Day 3
You have the morning hours to continue your explorations within the park or site seeing. Our driver will meet you at approximately 2 p.m. for your return to San Ignacio Resort Hotel. On the way back - Make an optional stop at the Guatemalan border town of Melchor de Mencos for shopping or stop off at Xunantunich, a popular Mayan archeological site in Belize or River Canoeing.

Day 4
Barton Creek Cave canoeing combined with Mountain Pine Ridge.

Day 5
Transfer to the BZE International Airport or the Marine Terminal in Belize City.

Extra Day options Include: Extra night(s) stays at Tikal and/or Flores or continue on from Cayo to Belize City, while enjoying Cave Tubing along the way; arriving, in time, for your flight from the Belize mainland to Ambergris Caye.

You can also Fly-Direct from the Santa Elena/Flores Airport (FRS) to Belize International (BZE) and then on to Ambergris Caye.
