the ropes and ladders. Tour lasts about 90 minutes.
Chechem Ha (Half Day)
From San Ignacio it's a scenic twenty five
minute drive into the Vaca plateau area and then a
20 minute hike up the
mountain
side
to
the cave's
entrance.
A
fair level
of physical fitness is required. Casual clothing
and hiking boots are the norm. |
Vaca
Falls is a 25 minute hike down to the Macal River or
take a cool, refreshing swim at Chechem Hah Falls,
less then 5 minutes walking distance from the entrance.
