There are many different activities to keep you entertained during your stay with us,
including Horseback Riding through Lush Jungle Trails. You can enjoy Canoeing on the Macal, Mopan or Belize Rivers while watching Birds, Turtles, Iguanas and other creatures.

There are a number of great places for Swimming such as Five Sisters Falls, Big Rock Falls and Rio On Pools in the Mountain Pine Ridge. You can walk though a number of medicinal trails or visit a nearby Butterfly Farm.
Maya Ruins abound and the most popular sites to visit are Xunantunich,
Cahal Pech
, Caracol and Tikal in Guatemala. The ancient Maya made extensive use of caves and you can view these impressive cave systems along with their cultural remains with a hike to the famous Actun Tunich Muknal (ATM Cave) or Canoe Barton Creek Cave.

You may also wish to visit a local village or stroll through San Ignacio and enjoying the flair of this small lively town. The nearby Hummingbird Highway, considered the most scenic road in Belize, leads to the Garifuna town of Dangriga. Along the way Enjoy the Inland Blue Hole National Park for swimming and a jungle walk to the St Herman's Cave.

Xunantunich is located approximately 7 miles from San Ignacio in the village of Succotz, the prominent pyramid, El Castillo can be seen from miles around, the ancient structure provides breathtaking views of western Belize and Eastern Guatemala.

Cahal Pech overlooks San Ignacio Town and the Macal River Valley. Explore the temples, palaces and plaza's on this six acre, former Mayan ceremonial centre.

Caracol is the largest ancient site in Belize, and one of the largest in the Maya world. Artifacts show proof of victory in battle over the mighty Tikal.

Tikal in Guatemala, with approximately 300 buildings, is one of the most impressive sites in the ancient
Maya world.

Barton Creek Caves is on the way to the Mountain Pine Ridge. Glide through the darkness of the cave in a canoe with a powerful spotlight. Keep an eye out for Maya artifacts.

Caves Branch is an underground world waiting to explore with only your inner tube and helmet mounted spotlight. See stalagmites filled with 1000 year old pottery shards, continue past the
underground waterfall to the 'Crystal cathedral' a spiritual place used by the ancient Maya.

Actun Tunichil Muknal is a remote cave where you will witness burial chambers with calcified remains, ceremonial vessels and much more. Observe numerous cultural artifacts used by the Maya in their ritual ceremonies, and view the remains of a Mayan princess as she was laid to rest centuries ago.

Macal and Belize River Canoeing. Knowable guides will point out the different flora and fauna, birds and other wildlife along the way. You are likely to spot iguanas in the jungle canopy while passing by high-rock-wall formations, as you slowly make your way downstream.
