Hotel Petén is located on the island of Flores, which makes it a very convenient base for trips to Tikal and other area attractions in Guatemala's Petén region.

From the street, Hotel Petén appears very modest, but enter the doorway, and you'll find a small courtyard with tropical plants, a tiny semi-indoor pool, and a nice brick-and-stucco
building with several floors. The best rooms are those on the top two floors, and have private balconies with excellent lake views.
