Tikal Inn - Parque Nacional Tikal

Surrounded by the pristine rainforest and jungle of the Petén, Tikal Inn is located in Tikal National Park in Guatemala. It sits on the edge of the jungle and is only a ten minute walk from the center of the Mayan Ruins (Mayor Plaza).

The Inn's traditional architecture provides a comfortable setting to relax,
bird watch, and enjoy the natural beauty of Tikal National Park. There is a swimming pool, reception/conference center for 80, and a restaurant serving family-style meals.

The Inn features a bar, which is a nice place to relax with your favorite beverage after a busy day exploring the ruins. There is also internet available for quests.

Tikal Inn has 17 rooms, along with pool-side Bungalows. All Rooms and Bungalows have private bathrooms, shower with hot water, and ceiling fans. The Bungalows, are decorated with thatched roofs, rustic wood trim and local textiles with private porch and a symphony, courtesy of the jungle.

Strolling through Tikal Inn’s gardens rewards guests with the chance to view Keel-billed toucans, Oscillated Turkeys, Howler and Spyder Monkeys and gray foxes, which make up some of the wildlife
you can expect to see passing through the grounds.

DAY 1
Pick-up at Mundo Maya International Airport in Santa Elena at 8am;
Transfer to Parque Nacional Tikal; Enjoy a Tikal Tour with bilingual guide and then lunch at Tikal Inn at 13:00. Afterwards you can visit the Tikal Museum at your leisure and/or climb (El Mundo Perdido) the Lost World Pyramid to view sunset over Tikal.

DAY 2
Sunrise Tour- Pre-dawn nature tour culminating atop Temple 1V to witness the awakening sights and sounds of the jungle, as the sun rise over Tikal.

Breakfast at Tikal Inn 07:00 - 10:00; Free morning; Lunch;
Begin your return to the Airport or Flores at 2pm.

WHATS INCLUDED - 4 meals as noted; 2 tours;
One night at Tikal Inn; Round-trip transport Santa Elena/Flores - Tikal.
